Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is in addition to the School’s Delegated Budget. It is allocated to children from low-income families and children who have been in care for at least one day. Pupil Premium Funding is used to raise attainment, promote social skills, independent learning and positive behaviour in order to increase student progress and overcome any barriers to learning. Children eligible for pupil premium funding are expected to make the same progress as other children. Leaders in school and the schools' governors track the progress of all children carefully, to ensure that everyone makes at least the progress that is expected of them.

For lots more detail of how much funding we get, how it's spent and how we know that it is spent well, having a positive impact on children's learning, have a look at this year's 'Pupil Premium Strategy'.
