Welcome to our school!

Our Motto

"Every day, in Every way, Everyone Matters"

(The Lost Parables - Luke Ch 15)

(The Starfish Story - Loren Eisley)

'The school is a haven of Christian love' - SIAMS 2023       'The vision is a life changing reality' - SIAMS 2023     'Everyone is nurtured to be the best unique individual they can be' - SIAMS 2023

Our Vision

"Nurture, Grow, Flourish and...Fly"

We nurture the hearts of our children, support them all to grow, watch them flourish, and then fly...

"To uphold and promote our Christian Values by creating a welcoming, vibrant, happy school where the wellbeing of our children and families are placed at the heart of everything we do.

Through a creative and nurturing approach we aim to actively engage, inspire and enable all of our children to grow, flourish and succeed, having discovered a real love for one another, for life and for learning."

“Educating for Life in All its Fullness”

“Life in all its fullness" (John 10: 10)

Our Christian Values

Love

A love for one another, life and learning!

“Love each other as I have loved you." (John 15:12)

Joy

Our children are happy and so are our families!

We engage children through active and joyful learning opportunities. We read, write, count, create, sing and dance to music! We aim to have as much fun as possible whilst achieving the highest possible standards. And when we think we’ve achieved everything we can, we ’Reach for the Stars’ and aim even higher.

Jesus said: ‘’I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness.” (John 10: 10)

Peace

We share magical moments.

At the heart of our curriculum is the belief that to be truly successful, children need to become independent learners. They need time and space to plan the next steps on their journey of learning. We provide imaginative learning experiences; we allow our children to think and feel; we encourage curiosity and questioning; and we provide opportunities to be still and reflect.

Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.” (John 14: 27)

Hope

Together, we make a difference.

We take the life and teaching of Jesus Christ as our inspiration. We care about each other. We support each other. We work closely with Furzebank Worship Centre and our families to help local communities and those further afield.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him." (Romans 15:13)

Reception Trip - Ash End Farm13May2024

@ Rosedale CE Infant School

WHY: A key aspect to our curriculum is the enrichment opportunities offered to our pupils. We understand that such experiences can enrich the life of our children and add depth of learning to the subjects we teach. With that in mind, we cannot wait to visit Ash End Farm so our children can gain first-hand experience of the workings of a farm. The visit will involve us meeting and learning about a number of farm animals through the medium of Nursery Rhymes. We will also have a tractor ride to round off our day. COST: The cost of the visit is £26.00 per child and should be paid via ParentPay before Friday 10th May. ParentPay is our preferred method of payment by credit and debit cards. Parents who wish to pay by cash may do so using the PayPoint network at local convenience store by obtaining a barcode letter from the school office. If we have not received payment from you for your child, please do not be offended when we call you to chase up payment. Such enrichment events can only take place if we are able to cover our costs. If you need to pay in a couple of instalments, that is fine of course. TIME: This visit takes place within normal school times. Children should arrive to school at their normal time of 8.45am and will be leaving to go home at normal time. WEAR: Children need to wear clothing suitable to be outdoors all day and to get dirty in. Forest School clothes would be a good idea. Wellies and a waterproof coat/jacket are necessary. LUNCH: Please send your child with a packed lunch and a filled water bottle. If you would like to order a school lunch, please return the attached order form no later than Monday 6th May.
